Hanxi night market may be one of the best well-known secrets in Taichung and one of the most accessible. Located a few kilometers from Taichung’s train station, this night market is where you go if you want to experience real night market culture in the city. The market is only operational five days a week, and like most temporary markets, is set up on an abandoned parking lot from 6pm to 12am most nights.
